Got the love of sailing from my dad (he was in the merchant marine, and raced Dragons back when they were still wood construction), but grew up with a power boat, not a sailboat. Bought a Beneteau 38.1 just prior to retirement, and cruise with it on Lake Ontario, Canada. Race with our club on the lake, have done the RORC Caribbean 600, and looking to do more offshore racing.
